PCN Awarded as a Top Clean Tech Company in San Diego July 1, 2010

San Diego – June 24, 2010 – As one of five companies out of 30+ to win in the 2010 CONNECT Cleantech Venture Roundtable, PCN Technology (PCN) was chosen amongst an elite group of candidates after having passed a rigorous screening process conducted by two separate panels of industry experts, venture capitalists and business leaders. PCN Technology, along with Diomede Storage, AER Sustainable Energy, Lightwave Photonics, and EcoDog, were invited to present their companies and business plans on June 24 at CONNECT’s headquarters in San Diego, CA.

PCN Joins US Green Building Council June 30, 2010

San Diego – July 7, 2010 – PCN Technology, Inc. (PCN) of San Diego, CA announces its membership with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). PCN, Among Others, Create Green Jobs That Can Help Fuel State’s Recovery April 26, 2010

As Californians celebrated the 40th anniversary of Earth Day last week, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was in Silicon Valley, touring clean technology companies and extolling the environmental revolution as an economic engine that could help the state shake off the lingering effects of the Great Recession.

Schwarzenegger noted that both firms he visited — Serious Materials, which produces energy-efficient windows, and SunPower, a solar panel company — have seen substantial job growth over the past few years despite the recession. SunPower, for instance, has grown from 35 employees in 2003 to 5,000 today and is now hiring 300 workers.

SDGE, Qualcomm and PCN Celebrate Earth Day at CleanTECH Event April 22, 2010

Executives from SDGE, Qualcomm and PCN, as well as guests from utilities and various telecommunications companies, came together today at The University Club in San Diego to celebrate Earth Day and discuss the benefits and opportunities from Smart Metering and the build out of the Smart Grid.
