Growth Through Innovation
May 1, 2012
One of the biggest indicators of a company’s success is growth, and at PCN we’ve certainly hit a growth spurt as of late. We’re hiring for new positions across the company (more to come on those in a later post), and we’ve beefed up our board of directors. Our existing board members Venkat Shastri and Jerre Stead were recently joined by long-time advisor Joseph Kasputys as Director, and Irwin Pfister as Chairman.
All are very skilled professionals who have experience leading big companies with big ideas. From serving on the U.S. Department of Commerce, to authoring the “Flight of the Buffalo” leadership series and leading Schlumberger SEMA, these guys really know their stuff and bring a lot to the table.
Growth doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of hard work and innovation, and it’s no different with us. For years, PCN has made technology that everyone wants, so we’ve developed products anyone can use.
With our Ethernet routers and switches, we’ve helped companies from diverse industries use the wiring they already have in place to update their existing wired systems all without impacting functionality or operations.
We’ve worked with building automation companies, defense companies, utilities and others. Recently, we worked with major technology innovators to integrate our products at a gas station. We upgraded the station’s system to Ethernet/IP using their existing wiring without compromising security or reliability, and better yet with no shut down. The gas station was enabled with a full IP network less than an hour after we arrived.
We pride ourselves on being able to say—to anyone—that if your existing private or closed system needs Ethernet/IP access, our products can do the job.
Here’s hoping we can help your company kick off a growth spurt of its own.
