By incorporating, PCN’s IP-485™ products; customers can create a single integrated TCP/IP, SCADA and ENERGY network. This paves the way for new data and energy applications for products, machines, buildings and systems overall while protecting existing network operations. “We are very pleased and excited that TechAmerica recognized the significance of PCN’s vision for the future as it relates to converging independent power and data wired networks into a single conductive media system. This all adds up to TCP/IP connectivity within existing automation, control and energy networks” commented Daniel Drolet, SVP for PCN”.
“PCN Technology’s open standard embedded platform and their resulting module and server products have accelerated the convergence of data and energy applications within commercial, industrial, energy and defense industries, making them a well-deserved contender for the High Tech Award in the ‘communication products and services category,’” said Kevin Carroll, regional vice president of TechAmerica San Diego. “We wish PCN Technology the best of luck as the competition within the category is tough this year, and look forward to announcing the results in October.”
