PCN is very pleased to be selected as a Semi-Finalist in the prestigious San Diego CONNECT Awards. Now in its 23rd year, the CONNECT MIP Awards are San Diego’s “Oscars” for local technology innovation. More than 100 companies of all sizes enter in eight categories: action and sport technologies, aerospace and security technologies, clean technology, communications and IT, hardware and general technology, life science-diagnostics and research tools, life science-medical products and software. The semifinalists were selected from a record-breaking 105 entries representing a broad rang of companies with eight categories. Semifinalists were selected by industry experts and business leaders through a rigorous process.

Chosen as Semi-Finalists in the “Communications and IT” category, are:

• PCN Technology (PCN) for its IP-485™ Technology & Products
• Novatel Wireless for its MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot Technology and Products
• On-Ramp Wireless for its Ultra-Link Processing (ULP) Wireless Communication System
• GreatCall for its GreatCall Medication Reminder Service
• Mushroom Networks for its Teleporter technology & products
• TechnoCom Corporation for the TechnoCom location platform

Finalists will be announced on Friday, December 10 before an audience of more than 800 of San Diego’s top executives, entrepreneurs, service providers, and academics.
