PCN Technology (PCN) products are for integration into new & legacy devices, equipment, systems, & infrastructure that require powerline enabled end-to-end application specific solutions. Products are feature rich application specific I/O solutions providing the complete switching, routing & management of data on power & energy grids among other non-IT conducted medium infrastructures.
The PCN platform utilizes existing power lines as the virtual bus, backbone, bridge and interface to provide seamless application specific mission critical communication, networking, control, and energy management solutions.
For complete data convergence and heterogeneous communication solutions within and between mission critical products & systems, PCN products can be configured into a mesh network, star, ring, point-to-point or other configuration and bridge to other wired and wireless technologies.
Products are IP enabled with convergence & trans-coding “on the fly” between dissimilar protocols, platforms and architectures. Communication links can be interconnected between traditional IP networks and intermixed with low level network protocols and hardware interfaces. Entire modular solutions are available in a two square inch DIP package module solution and can be provided to OEM customers in multiple form factors.
